| Customer Reviews: The closest thing to Dunkin' Donuts Coffee in a pod July 21, 2010 thetoolman (Hillsborough, NJ United States) If you are not into the somewhat strong bitter taste of Starbuck's coffee, try Timothy's Donut Blend pods. They have a mild non bitter flavor and come closest to the flavor found in Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Don"t mix this blend up with Coffee People Donut Shop Coffee Keurig K-Cups. That brand is far less mild and actually taste somewhat bitter to me. Of course you can always use your own ground coffee, including Dunkin'Donuts brand, to make your own K cup using the Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter. Some people, however, don't like the idea of having to wash it out after each use. Personally, I find that no big deal since it has such a small filter.
Disappointing July 20, 2010 Sammypot
Very disappointed in this coffe. I much prefer Timothy's Breakfast Blend. This one is "watery" and not at all what I expected from reading the other reviews. I would like to return this but guess I will just "brew" it and combine it with another K-cup. Amazon's service is great, the price was great, the coffee just did not do it. I am so looking forward to finding a K-cup that is full bodied yet not so strong and/or bitter as I find so many of them to be, all brands that I have tried so far.
Makes a Great Mellow Cup of Coffee July 16, 2010 bulbul It took me a while to warm up to timothy's Original Donut Blend- I agree with the many other reviewers who felt that the brew was good but a bit weak. The first few cups we had tasted just that way. But after adjusting the brewing temperature and cup-size on my Keurig, it became a really, really great cup of coffee. Its true that you do need to use one of the smaller cup settings. Its a really nice mellow cup of coffee with good flavor and is great with half-and-half. If you like the burnt-ish taste of coffees like French Roast, though, Original Donut Blend wouldn't be a good choice.
The Perfect cup at in my Office anytime!!!! July 14, 2010 Steven Azizo (NY, NY, US) The Timothy Donut blend. Is the Closest thing to a fresh DD coffee. Even Dunkin is starting to be hit and miss where some are serving gas station coffee under the DD guise. But then theres Timothy Donut blend. It's guaranteed Arama , Mild but full flavored ( that does not leave an Acidic or bitter aftertaste, make it the best overall.)I'm already on autodelivery and could not be happier.
ONE note. The Timothy Donut Blend K cup should only be brewed under the medium cup setting. Don't wate your time on any other setting. It will take away from the taste it's meant to achieve
Great Coffee July 9, 2010 Gary Rosenfeld (HENDERSON, NV, US) This is one of my favorites. Consistent Flavor and aroma and a must have on hand.
