| Customer Reviews: mimicreme July 20, 2010 5mdoo I love mimicreme, after a few days I really favor this to half and half in my coffee , it also has less calories than dairy products, only down side is you must shake well before using
I really wanted to love this product... June 28, 2010 Dolores Zapata (Northern California) I'm not a fan of milk, so I've been in search of the perfect sub in my smoothies and coffee drinks. This product does not work for me. It does succeed in achieving creaminess. Maybe that is why I found the flavor heavy and synthetic? I found it weighed down smoothies and added an unpleasant under taste to iced coffee.
To be clear - by "synthetic" I don't mean it tastes like the maker added in unnatural ingredients- I mean it has a blended-nut-milk-attempting-to-be-something-else-taste.
2 stars for taste, one added back because I have to account for the fact that according to my own taste, what I use and like best is almond milk. I seem to prefer thinner milks.

LOVE this Dairy Free cream May 19, 2010 M. Bradley (Washington State) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Milk allergies mean no cheese, no cream, etc. Until NOW. This product makes fantastic creamy soups, made a great dairy free Mac and cheese (using Mimic Cream and Roads End Organics powdered dairy free Chreese Mix). Using up the rest in a cup of coffee and it mixes in fine (don't know why some other reviewer had a problem with their coffee, because I didn't)
I would give it 10 stars if that was an option. May 6, 2010 Michele (West Coast) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I do a lot of baking and I've been looking for a substitute for heavy cream for ages. MimicCreme works fabulously in most dessert recipes, especially if chocolate is a main ingredient. It doesn't whip quite as firm as heavy cream, but I use it to make chocolate truffles, and puddings, and things like that. I also use it in cake batters, and as long as there are other flavorings, the taste of the MimicCreme doesn't come through. It's not that MimicCreme tastes bad, but it does have a nutty flavor.
Awesome vegan coffee creamer substitute April 19, 2010 M. Foreman (MI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Trying to make my daily coffee habit jive with my desire to adopt a more animal-friendly diet had proved pretty impossible -- until I found Mimic Creme. OF COURSE it is not the same as normal "non-dairy" creamer, like Coffeemate. But, mix a little Agave nectar and it is really, really good. This is the only "creamy" un-creamer I have been able to find. It is pretty hard to find a substitute for dairy products, but, thankfully, I can enjoy my "creamy" coffee guilt-free now! Just wish it was sold in more stores.
