| Customer Reviews: delicious August 30, 2010 CristyW (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am gluten-free and dairy-free, so there are not a lot of "on the go" food choices. Some, like the Lara bars, are really dense and don't resemble real food. The Kind bars however taste fresh with a nice mix of flavors. The Cranberry Almond is my favorite, followed closely by the Almond Apricot. They are resilient enough to be carried around in my purse for "food emergencies". They get a little flat, but hold up much better than a banana and still taste great. Good price on Amazon, I pay over $20/box at local stores.
Unfortunately out of the Zone August 30, 2010 Gordon (Bethesda, MD) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Anyone interested in The Zone, these are 13g carbs, only 4g protein. Completely out of the zone... as most bars are. Of course you can't find that info here on Amazon, gotta go poke around the Kind website, and after a while, there it is. So, beware!
better to buy local August 27, 2010 flying goose (tucson, az) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Unfortunately these bars taste rather stale and old...nuts do not keep forever...and I get the sense that these have been held somewhere for far too long. Better to buy from your local store where you have some idea of the turnover..and can easily complain should the same problem arise.
Best protein/snack bar I've found July 21, 2010 YellowBird (Hunterdon County, NJ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Discovered KIND bars at a roadside rest area and was amazed at how one bar kept my hunger at bay. Very nice tasting. Have tried a few of the other flavors, but they all had coconut, which I'm not a fan of. This has a nice sweetness to it and therefore, some real flavor even though it's good for you.
No sulphur dioxide! July 14, 2010 Kwisatz Haderach (Texas, United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These bars are soooooo good. My daughter has asthma which can be triggered by sulphur dioxide and these bars don't use this chemical to preserve the dried fruit. The bars are not hard or crunchy but they are not chewy either. Texture is kinda like a snickers bar. Easy on the teeth. Everyone in my family has loved these bars. I thought the price was a little high but now that I've tasted them, they are completely worth it. I used to buy Clif organic Z bars which weigh 36g and these are little bigger at 40g and much better tasting and more nutritious.
