| Customer Reviews: A Smooth Gratifying Cup with a hint of cappucino July 13, 2010 Shelby Stein (New Haven, CT) I prefer flavored coffees that add a blip of excitement to the brew without overwhelming the taste of the coffee. I don't literally want my coffee to taste like blueberries or a stack of pancakes with syrup! That said, I was pleased to receive this k cup. It is now one of my faves. I wouldn't say it is my favorite, only because I love variety and like to switch my selections from day to day, but it is way up there.
For those who are concerned about coffee strength, I find I can manipulate the brew by using the lowest cup setting and when necessary using less water than called for. Frothed milk and cinnamon on top would complete the cappucino picture. But generally I don't bother as I'm happy with the coffee as it is. As far as the taste of this kcup, it is smooth and mellow with a little bit of cinnamon essence. It has a creamy quality as well, although that may just be due to the dairy I added.
It's like other Gloria Jeans - great flavoring, nasty coffee beans. July 7, 2010 Marie Morrison (Houston, TX United States) I feel like Gloria Jeans is really good at flavoring. This for example, really conveys the "flavors" of cappuccino (not the texture, creaminess, or anything else). The problem is, these 'flavors' are slapped unto some really bad quality coffee beans, at least that's what it seems like to me. I can taste that bitter after taste that only old, cheap beans provide. In other words, if you were to remove the add-on flavors, the coffee would be undrinkable. I think I'd almost like this cappuccino flavor best if instead of coffee it was added to rooibos tea, or even black tea, then served with milk and sugar.
Quite Tasty July 5, 2010 Virginia Leahy (N.Y.) Very good for the flavored coffees. Doesn't really taste like cappuccino but isn't bad for home coffee.
a k-cup flavor June 28, 2010 Patricia Paton (Holbrook, NY) My husband likes this coffee very much, so we now have it on the Subscribe & Save program. To me it has almost a Hazelnut taste to it.
Love this coffee! June 25, 2010 L. Wilt I love this coffee! Not too strong or bitter, just a hint of cappuccino flavor!
