| Customer Reviews: Yum Yum August 29, 2010 Tessa Noel This is the best tasting, artery clogging, high blood pressure inducing ramen I have ever tasted. Yumm!
Pretty good August 29, 2010 GatorCW Noodles are fine and filling. They make a simple and cheap meal with some vegetables, slices of meat, and eggs thrown in. The spice packet is a bit overwhelming if you're starting out, so stick to using a quarter of the packet first. The dehydrated vegetables are a nice touch, though they do take a bit more time than the noodles to be rehydrated. Instead of following the instructions on the package to the letter, try throwing in the veggies a bit before time, say 2 minutes or so ahead, or while the water is boiling set the veggies in a separate container of water until it's time to cook the noodles.
great stuff August 28, 2010 boolean this stuff is awesome. for best flavor boil it in water, drain the water, add spice packet and then add hot water.
I must be in heaven! August 13, 2010 Thuong Luu I stated on the batch this week and it goes well with everything I have tried to put in it. It taste great with hot dogs, Vienna sausages, eggs, spam, various veggies, and slices of old pizza. I thought I would only eat half of it, but it tasted so good, I just gulped it all down. The spice is really intense, I might just save a few packages and put it in my other bland foods.
Good! July 22, 2010 Gunnar Just got my first order delivered yesterday, and they're really quite good! I haven't had the authentic, from-Korea ramyun (yet!) but this is much better than any ramen or other instant noodle you'll find in any typical American super market. The noodles are thicker, which means that you can cook them to the right degree (just until firm, not mushy) MUCH more easily than other brands of American noodle. It's really not that spicy, just enough to clear up your sinuses, and it's not a spicy-for-the-sake-of-it kind of spicy, it's really quite full of deep flavors. I prepare it as per the directions on the packaging except I reduce cook time by 25-30 seconds and, when they're done, I crack one or two eggs into the pot after I bring it off the burner. The residual heat in the pot is more than enough to cook the egg, you just have to remember to break up the yolk and stir the egg around the pot. It helps to thicken the soup as well, which means it tends to stick to the noodles much better.
Overall, the noodles are quite delicious, and the best American-made noodle I've ever had. I definitely recommend them.
